Well work is going alright, not to say it couldn't be better but hey, I am sure it could be worse. this week has been kinda relaxing. I only work one more day this week and then I am off until next thursday. Had a staff meeting last night, It was... well.... ok, first one i have been to in a long time. Let me tell you though working somewhere in a small town is way different than working somewhere in Calgary. I will say I am not used to the employer caring so to speak and wanting the employees input and opinions. Not that it is a bad thing, just not something that happens just anywhere.

Teenagers...... sometimes they are just plain..... I dunno, I cannot think of a word. Anyways, The oldest had to babysit for the meeting last night, which was from 6-8:30pm. She had a friend over, I said that was ok before I even left, and another friend of mine who works with me had to drop off her 2 kids fr a bit as well. Sounds like a houseful doesn't it. Well my friends husband picked up their kids when he was done work, so that made my house a little less full right??.......

Not.

I come home to fins my 4 children, the friend that was allowed over, and her brother and 2 other kids as well......... tell me I was happy. Not really. So needless to say we had to sit down and have the "we have rules" and " you have responsibilities" talk. It went alright, like a typical teenager she got upset, and typical felmale teenager, cried, but there was no yelling, no 2 cents comments or anything. Now hopefully i made things clear enough that it will not happen again.... and i will add anytime soon to that because i know how kids are.

Ok start of a new week tomorrow. Lets hope for no phone calls from school about anyone knocking out a tooth, no children not feeling well and hopefully a little less chaos. Here is for hoping.

Ok, So I have gone back to work, and although it is only part time usually, I have discovered that it is not the easiest thing to do. Try to juggle working until 6 pm most nights, coming home and getting supper and stuff done with the kids, and trying to get them to clean up after themselves is a chore in itself. start the day at 6:45am and try to get myself and 4 kids ready to leave by 8:30 or so is an interesting task some mornings. Work until 6 pm, the kids arrive home about 3:30, so they seem to have free run of the house and some days it shows when i get home. backpacks and sweaters and odd items strewn all over the place by the time i get home. Make supper, eat, get a few other things done, then it is bedtime, which goes well some nights lol. by the time they are all in bed my day is almost done. I am not sure where all the time is going. But it is gone some days. Do not get me wrong, I am by no means complaining. i am just going in circles this week. I think this last week was a little rough for everyone at my house. i worked thursday/friday/saturday of last week until 6 pm, and then monday/ tuesday/ wednesday/ thursday of this week as well. today is however the last day i work now until next thursday morning so YAY for the weekend off. Speaking of which, I must go finish my stuff because i work a couple hours later today still. Have a good friday !!
